The Geologist Field Tools / Rockhound Tool Kit Estwing BelOMO (13 oz Leather Handle) contains all the tools to start you on your road as a geologist or a rockhound. Or maybe you want to upgrade the tools you already have.

  • Estwing 13 oz Pointed Tip Leather Gripped Rock Hammer E13P

  • BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe Magnifier

  • Lanyard, Deluxe BelOMO Woven Logo, 3/4in Nylon with Quick Release Buckle

  • Estwing Black Nylon Sheath for Pointed Tip Rock Hammers #22

  • Estwing Safety Goggles #6

The Estwing 13 oz Pointed Tip Leather Gripped Rock Hammer E13P has the same handle length as the Estwing Leather Grip 22 oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer E30 with nine ounces shaved from the head plus some addition weight reduction due to the handle shape. The head still imparts some mechanical force due to the handle length but not as much as the Estwing Leather Grip 22 oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer E30. It'll just take more swings to do the same work.

  • Kenyon Hoe/Cultivator Mattock

This Kenyon Tool Pro-Grade All Steel Cultivating Mattock is one tough tool to include in your rockhounding gear. My favorite part is the 3/8'' diameter tines for raking through your prospect pile. Loosen up the soil and gravel with the 2'' wide by 3/16'' thick steel hoe end then rake through with the tines while watching carefully for your target specimens. It's very ''Heavy-Duty'' short handled tool for the serious rockhound. All steel construction with a generous handle diameter vinyl grip. The mattock has 14” overall length. You can also practice digging for gold by using it in the garden on those weekends when you can't get away.

  • BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe Magnifier with Plain Lanyard

BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe Magnifier with Plain Lanyard

The world's best selling loupe: the BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe with the Plain Lanyard attached.

The BelOMO 10x21mm(.85") triplet loupe magnifier has a viewing area of 0.65 inch (17mm), much larger than the Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplet Magnifier. The 3 elements making up this achromatic triplet provide a bright and clear view. The 10x power magnification provides the best magnification to depth of field ratio and is the most popular power for a hand held magnifier. The housing and cover are machined metal and coated with a matte black finish and assembled using flathead screws. Belorussian Optical and Mechanical Association (BelOMA), makers of sights for guided weaponry, camera lenses, and other optical components manufacturers these loupes.

We highly recommend this loupe. This is the lens we use all the time.

Don't let this price fool you. The BelOMO loupe is a FANTASTIC buy. These are quality lenses that stand on their own against the higher priced competition. Take advantage of the recovering Belarus economy and a military supplier finding other revenue streams in a capitalistic market. Over 10,000 other geologists, rockhounds, stamp collectors, botanist, surgeons, hobbyist and people from all walks of life have.

Unsure? We encourage you to just Google BelOMO and peruse the rich praise for this loupe.

Each BelOMO loupe we ship is custom treated to prevent the screws from coming loose with usage.
